A pair of French, Napoleon III period, patinated bronze putti musicians after Clodion. Standing on circular naturalistic bases, each in animated pose, one holding a tambourine the other playing a triangle, supported by shaped gilt bronze plinths. Original patination with gilded instruments.

A pair of, French, Napoleon III period gilt bronze & onyx candlesticks. The putti seated on a naturalistic base entwined in a fruiting vine issuing a single candle sconce. The circular onyx bases with finely cast and chased vine leaf and grape border with beaded rim. Retaining the original mercury gilding. Sconces drilled for electricity.

A charming, early 19th century, French Restauration period gilt bronze mounted amboyna & porcelain toilet mirror. The rectangular mercury silvered plate inset a slim frame supported by a pair of corinthian columns, surmounted by swans, above three frieze drawers lined with purpleheart, and mounted to the front with floral painted porcelain panels.

A late 19th century, French, scarlet tortoise shell and cut brass inlaid ‘Boulle’ mantel clock in the Louis XV style. The case of waisted form mounted with ormolu, the shaped glazed front with visible starburst pendulum and inlaid interior. The eight day movement with Brocot suspension rack striking the hour & half hour on a bell. The circular gilt dial with enamel roman numeral tablets. Movement numbered 2081.

A small French kingwood, satiné & ormolu mounted side table in the Louis XV style. The quarter veneered top with kingwood banding and gilt rim above a single end drawer and opposing slide, standing on slender cabriole legs ending in sabots. The whole with ormolu embellishments. Mounts regilded. The knee mounts stamped ‘EB’ to the reverse.

A late 19th century green tortoiseshell and cut brass inlaid clock in the Louis XV style. Of small waisted form, the case finely inlaid to three sides and with original gilt bronze mounts. The eight day Vincenti & Cie movement rack striking the hour and half hour on a bell with Brocot suspension. The gilt dial with enamel cartouche roman numerals. Movement numbered 7897.

The rectangular top with ebonised serpentine moulded edge centred by a marquetry panel depicting a rural scene, opening to reveal a drawer fitted with green stained birds eye maple lidded compartments, above a single drawer, and supported by four turned legs united by an ‘H’ stretcher. A French Régence style ormolu mounted cut brass inlaid tortoiseshell bracket clock signed after Martinot, from the late 19th century. The waisted pediment with urn finial above glazed side panels, the finely inlaid case with crisp cast gilt mounts. The eight day twin barrel movement striking the hour & half hour on a bell, with anchor escapement, blued steel hands & starburst pendulum. The ormolu dial with enamel Roman numeral cartouches, signed to enamel plaque below ‘Martinot/Paris’.
