A late Victorian mahogany and marquetry inlaid bijouterie table by Edwards & Roberts. The rectangular bevelled glazed top with leafy inlaid border opening to the original velvet lined interior, above four panelled sides each inlaid with scrolling acanthus and wide rosewood cross banding. The four square tapering legs each headed by an inlaid urn with trailing garrya below and ending in brass caps and castors. Stamped to the interior ‘Edwards & Roberts’.

Victorian Walnut & Porcelain Mounted Side Cabinet

A mid Victorian figured walnut & yew wood banded side cabinet, mounted with finely chased gilt bronze and porcelain panels, retaining a fine mellow colour. The rectangular top above a narrow frieze with central plaque, the two panelled doors below enclosing a relined shelved interior, standing on a shaped plinth base. The whole mounted with chased gilt bronze and thirteen porcelain panels finely painted with putti & flowers.

Of serpentine form, the swan neck pediment above a moulded frieze and single shaped glazed door, enclosing a shelved interior with glazed sides. The base with a single mahogany lined drawer, supported by four slender tapering square legs ending in splay feet.

Late 19th Century Victorian Satinwood Display Cabinet

A late 19th century, Victorian, satinwood and marquetry display cabinet. The moulded cornice above an inlaid lattice frieze with a pair of glazed doors flanked by bowed glazed sides, enclosing a relined shelved interior. The base with a central cupboard flanked by open shelves with a band of vitruvian scroll inlay, and supported by four short square tapering legs ending in spade feet.

Antique French Red Boulle Clock by Delettrez

A late 19th century red tortoiseshell and engraved brass inlaid clock in the Louis XV style. Of small waisted form, the case finely inlaid to all four sides and with original gilt bronze mounts. The eight day Delettrez movement rack striking the hour and half hour on a bell with Brocot suspension. The gilt dial with enamel cartouche roman numerals. Movement stamped JBD and numbered 33044. The rubbed dial signed Chas Frodsham.

George IV Library Side Cabinet

An unusual early 19th century, George IV, albuerra wood  library cabinet. The rectangular top with three quarter carved gallery above a single cedar lined frieze drawer, now with later brass pulls, with a panelled door below enclosing two shelves, standing on carved turned feet with concealed castors. The front, back and sides panelled with quadrant reel mouldings enabling the piece to be freestanding.

Regency Gilt & Patinated Bronze Candelsticks

A pair of Regency gilt and patinated bronze candlesticks. The flame finial inset a single sconce supported by a baluster stem with acanthus leaf decoration, the circular stepped bases with four hairy paw feet. Later engraved inscription to bases ‘Mrs Rupert Clutterbuck From Coldstream Guards 1939-1946′. One finial replaced.

French Rosewood Card Table

A late 19th century, French, rosewood and marquetry inlaid card table with ormolu mounts. The parquetry inlaid serpentine shaped top with floral spandrels, opening to reveal a baize lined interior supported by pull out rear legs concealing a drawer. The shaped frieze with four cabriole legs ending in sabots. Each mount stamped ‘LW’, regilded.

Pair of 19th century Antique Patinated & Parcel Gilt Bronze Mars & Minerva Figures

A Pair of Continental, probably Italian, patinated bronze & parcel gilt figures of Mars & Minerva from the middle of the 19th century. Minerva seated with spear in right hand, shield in left, a rams fleece at her feet and an owl resting upon her head. Mars seated looking to sinister, resting his right hand on a gilt sword with plumed helmet. Both with stepped Belgian black marble bases.

A mid 19th century, Victorian, rosewood secretaire Wellington chest. The rectangular top rising to reveal a secret well above a bank of graduated drawers, the secretaire drawer fitted with birds eye maple pigeon holes and small drawers, flanked by moulded locking pilasters with floral carved corbels, standing on a plinth base. The original turned handles graduating in size.

A late 19th century French mahogany, oeil de vemeil, tulipwood crossbanded and gilt bronze mounted liqueur cabinet with breccia marble top. The four drop flap sides inlaid with radiating starbursts, under a rectangular breccia marble top inset a gilded border and supported by four turned fluted legs ending in sabots. The gilt bronze mounts regilded.

A French first empire flame mahogany and gilt bronze mounted Secrétaire à Abattant by Lependu. The original blue turquin marble top above a frieze drawer and fall front secretaire fitted with small drawers and retaining the original green tooled leather writing surface, above a pair of doors enclosing two drawers on plinth base. Fine original fire gilded mounts with rich flame veneers, oak carcass and mahogany drawer linings.
