Aeneas saving Anchises from Troy after Pierre Lepautre.

A late 19th century bronze group of Aeneas fleeing Troy, carrying his father Anchises over his shoulder with his son, Ascanius, at his side. Anchises is holding one of the statues of the household gods of Troy, Larus. Dark green patination.
