A late 19th century, French, kingwood and gilt bronze mounted open bookcase cabinet. The marble top with moulded edge above a concave frieze with open adjustable quarter veneered back and shelves below, flanked by rounded corners with outswept sides and standing on short cabriole legs. The whole with fine original fire gilded mounts and oak carcass.
