Antique French Empire Revival Mahogany Ormolu Mounted Console Table

ANDRAU & BLANC TOULOUSE
A fine French Empire revival mahogany, ormolu mounted marble topped console table from the last quarter of the 19th century. Of rectangular form, veneered in quilted mahogany (Amarillo), the slim frieze above tapering columns to the front topped with ormolu caryatids, a bevelled mirror plate to the rear panel, with a platform base standing on hairy paw feet. The original thick marble top with a moulded edge. The reverse stencilled ‘ATELIERS ANDRAU & BLANC TOULOUSE’ 3454.

Antique Empire Revival Austrian Table Lamp

An Empire Revival Austrian ormolu mounted bronze patinated four light table lamp. In the Empire style, the four candle arms with central wired stem, issuing from a tapering column with berried leaf spiral decoration. The cylinder base with ormolu swags and a square plinth base and squat feet. The back stamped ‘Made in Austria’. Original patination. Rewired.

A Pair of Antique French Empire Gilt Bronze Candlesticks

A pair of early 19th century, French, gilt bronze candlesticks. The tapered column with fish scale cast decoration interspersed with a band of small sunflowers, above a circular base with laurel leaf decorated border. Original gilding, the drip pans replaced.

A Pair of French Empire Ormolu & Bronze Candlesticks

A fine pair of early 19th century, French Empire, bronze and ormolu candlesticks. The gilt drip pans inset a flared sconce with cast band of flowers with a reeded body  and supported by bases finely cast and chased with floral and waterleaf decoration. Retaining the original mercury gilding and dark patination.
