The carrera marble body containing a circular enamel dial with roman numerals, a figure of Fidelity stands to one side with cupid floating on clouds to the other, his bow and arrows at his feet, between them sits a spaniel. The dial hung with a swag of roses, above a platform base with entwined leafy panels and toupie feet. Retaining the original mercurial gilding.
