A pair of 19th century ‘Grand Tour’ bronzes after the antique. The Pompeii faun, a bearded male, standing with his right foot forward, hands held aloft, the other depicted with his right foot on a scabellum and with a cymbal in each hand. Each on a rectangular sienna marble plinth. Original patination.

A Napoleon III, French, gilt bronze and porcelain mantel clock. The urn surmount with floral and hung with chains, above a circular porcelain dial, with acanthus scroll sides, the inverted breakfront base with scroll inset panels on toupie feet. The front and sides inset puce painted porcelain panels in a ‘Wateauesque‘ style. The Vincenti eight day movement with brocot suspension striking the hour & half hour on a bell, numbered 1830. Original two tone matt & burnished gilding.
The porcelain panels signed to reverse ‘Morel Carpentier 1831’

A George IV rosewood bracket clock in the Gothic taste. The shouldered lancet shaped case surmounted by a carved stepped plinth with turned and carved finials, the sides with pierced brass fretwork. The front glazed door opening to a resilvered dial engraved with acanthus scrolls and roman numerals, and signed ‘Grant Fleet Street’. The eight day double fusee five pillar movement with strike/silent lever and anchor escapement, striking the hour and quarter hour on two bells.

The rectangular graduating tops with cockbeaded border and satinwood banding, standing on four slender ring turned supports with trestle ends and splay feet, united by a curved rear stretcher. Good original patination and condition.

A late 19th century, Venetian, octagonal cushion wall mirror of small size. The central octagonal plate surrounded by segmented plates, hand cut and engraved with flowers, surmounted by acanthus and ‘c’ scroll pediment, inset an ebonised frame. The original silvering with signs of age to all plates.

A pair of late 19th century figures of ‘Hippomene ‘ & ‘Atalante’ cast by Barbedienne. Each figure in expressive pose, standing on a ring turned and octagonal Belgium marble base. Original dark brown patination, each signed to base. Some fritting to base of each marble.
Cast after the marbles situated in the ‘Jardin des Tuileries’, and shown in the Bardedienne catalogue of 1886. The size of each is ‘Petite No 4’.

An Edwardian mahogany, kingwood crossbanded and boxwood strung torchere stand. The square top with unusual rising lid to reveal a small box, above a tapering column, each side quarter veneered and strung, above a stepped plinth with concave sides.

A Rosewood Pembroke games table in a style strongly associated with Gillows. The rectangular top with central slide, concealing a removable tray decorated for backgammon, reversing to an inlaid chequers board, flanked by twin drop flaps supported by knuckle jointed lopers. The front with a dummy and a real mahogany lined drawer, retaining the original rosewood turned pulls, standing on four turned reeded legs ending in ‘Copes Patent’ brass caps and castors.

The shaped case surmounted by a seated cherub, above waisted sides finely inlaid with scrolling cut brass and centred by a mask mount, the front with glazed panel showing the inlaid interior and pendulum. The eight day Vincent & Cie movement with Brocot suspension and striking the hour & half hour on a bell with outside countwheel. Movement and pendulum numbered 1142.
