Description
A late 19th century, French, solid mahogany and ormolu mounted bedside cabinet of the finest quality. The rectangular top with moulded edge, above a single oak lined frieze drawer, a small cupboard under lined with marble to the base. The panelled sides each with waterleaf ormolu mouldings and rounded corners with fluted detail inset with ormolu drops. The four turned legs united by a platform stretcher with small moulded gallery edge, standing on porcelain castors. Fine condition with minimal signs of wear. Ormolu retaining the original gilding.
