Description
A George IV rosewood card table, firmly attributed to Gillows. The rectangular top with rounded corners, opening to reveal a relined baize interior supported by twin rear gate legs. The frieze with cockbead panel decoration and turned split beaded mouldings, supported by a typical Gillows turned and reeded leg. In fine original condition, usual signs of wear commensurate with age.
