A late 19th century, French, patinated bronze ‘Laurent De Medicis’ cast by F. Barbedienne, with the A. Collas Reduction Mechanique seal. The well cast and chased figure after the renowned Michelangelo sculpture of Lorenzo di Piero de Medici (1492-1519), in the Medici tomb, Florence. The base with inset seal to the reverse, and inscribed twice F. Barbedienne Fondeur. The base with ink numbering. The Barbedienne catalogue index ‘La Reduction nº 7’.

Antique Marquetry Inlaid Mahogany Bijouterie Table by ‘Edwards & Roberts’

A late Victorian mahogany and marquetry inlaid bijouterie table. The rectangular bevelled glazed top with interlaced inlaid border opening to a relined damask interior, above four panelled sides each inlaid with scrolling acanthus, the four square tapering legs each headed by an inlaid frond with trailing garrya below and ending in brass caps and castors. Although not stamped this table vitrine is almost certainly by ‘Edwards & Roberts’.

Antique Red Tortoiseshell & Cut Brass Boulle Mantel Clock

A late 19th century, French, brass inlaid scarlet red tortoiseshell and ormolu mounted mantel clock. The finial modelled as a basket of fruit above a waisted shaped case, the sides and front inlaid  with engraved scrolling brass and mounted with rococo gilt bronze. The circular gilt dial with twelve piece enamel tablets, an eight day movement with brocot suspension, rack striking the hour and half hour on a bell. Movement and pendulum numbered 8559.

Antique George III Kingwood & Indian Rosewood Teapoy

An unusual George III Kingwood & Indian rosewood teapoy now fitted with a brass liner. Of rectangular box form, the rising lid revealing a fitted interior of three tea caddies, one above the other, and a brass liner replacing the mixing bowls. The finely figured Kingwood top and front with tulipwood crossbanding, the sides with brass carrying handles, a small drawer to the right, supported by four square tapering legs with fine line inlay and ending in brass caps and castors.

Antique Victorian Gothic Brass Skeleton Timepiece

A mid 19th century, Victorian, Gothic brass skeleton timepiece with rosewood plinth and glass dome. The single fusee movement with anchor escapement of eight day duration, with five & spoke wheel work throughout (six spoke to the escape wheel). The circular dial retaining the original gilding and painted roman numerals with signs of wear to some numerals. The shaped plates with six turned pillars, brass bob pendulum retains the knurled locking nut for transportation.

A mid 19th century, Victorian, walnut bookcase. The rectangular verde marble top with re entrant corners, inset a moulded edge with narrow frieze, above three adjustable open shelves flanked by rounded corners with acanthus carved corbels and standing on a shaped plinth base with turned feet.

Edwardian Antique Mahogany & Inlaid Cylinder Bureau

An Edwardian mahogany, boxwood line inlaid and chequer strung cylinder bureau. The rectangular top above three frieze drawers with a cylinder front rising to reveal a fitted interior of pigeon holes and small drawers with pull out leather lined writing slide. The kneehole base with single frieze drawer flanked by a pair of small drawers to each side and standing on square tapering legs ending in spade feet. Retaining the original brass and ivory pulls throughout.

A late 19th century, French, gilt bronze and porcelain mounted mantel clock. The figure of a seated winged putti on a stepped plinth with a circular jewelled porcelain panel dial painted with Roman numerals and floral swags, flanked by cornucopia overflowing with flowers, the sides with rectangular landscapes. The concave stepped base with three frieze panels. Fine original matt and burnished gilding. The eight day movement with Brocot suspension rack striking the hour & half hour on a bell. Case, porcelain, movement & pendulum stamped 7340, mounts stamps ‘LC’.

Jean Baptiste Delettrez Ormolu Mantel Clock with Pink Porcelain Panels

A late 19th century, Napoleon III, French gilt bronze and porcelain clock retailed by Lee & Son Belfast. The finely cast and chased clock case in the Louis XVI style surmounted by an urn, flanked by pinatum finials, with bowed panels to the sides painted with musical trophies and the central panel with cherubs. Original gilding to case retaining silver highlights. The eight day movement by J B Deletrez, rack striking the hour & half hour on a bell, with Brocot suspension. The case, pendulum and movement numbered 32471.
