A pair of late 19th century porcelain and silvered gilt mounted spill vases, probably French, in the Japonaise style. The cylindrical porcelain body painted with a gilt trellis pattern on a turquoise ground, the front enamelled with exotic birds in prunus blossom, the reverse with a further spray of flowers. The tops and bases with finely cast and chased parcel silver gilded mounts.
