A mid Victorian walnut, tulipwood crossbanded and ormolu mounted side cabinet. The finely figured serpentine fronted top above a frieze with central oval porcelain plaque, with a pair of shaped glazed doors below, pleated with silk, enclosing a relined interior, and standing on a plinth base. The whole with well cast and chased gilt metal mounts.
