A Regency rosewood, parcel gilt and ormolu mounted boat shaped Canterbury. The four divisions of splat form inset with ormolu beading, above a single mahogany lined drawer retaining the original star form pulls, with dummy en verso, and standing on turned legs with brass caps and castors. Fine original condition. Possibly attributable to John Mclean, the star form handles and ormolu mouldings can be seen on furniture by this firm.
