Description
A George IV rosewood escritoire of small size, in the ‘Gillows’ style. The rectangular top over a concealed frieze drawer, the fall front opening to a writing surface and a fitted interior with four small drawers. The base with three graduated drawers flanked by moulded columns headed with a typical gillows scroll, standing on bun feet. The front with finely figured book veneers. The brass pulls replaced.Height 43 18″ (109.5cm)
