
An early Victorian mahogany drum table. The circular top above a frieze with eight alternating real and dummy drawers, above a turned column with platform base and four turned feet concealing castors. The drawers retaining the original turned rosewood pulls. Castors stamped ‘Barron & Co Patent’. James Barron is recorded as a ‘Castor maker’ in 1816.
