Antique French Gilt Bronze Clock Garniture by Raingo Fres & Masselotte

Movement by Raingo Fres case by Masselotte.

A good French gilt bronze clock Garniture in the Louis XVI style. The eight day twin train spring driven movement with brocot suspension, outside countwheel striking the hour & half hour on a bell. The enamel dial with roman numerals, inset a case finely cast and mounted with acanthus scrolls and urn surmount. The original painted jade green backplates off setting the gilt work. The candelabra with twin branches above a column flanked by musical cherubs. Case & movement numbered 2717.
