Emile Pinedo (French) 1840-1916
A late 19th century French bronze bust of the Emperor Napoleon. Dressed in military uniform and looking to dexter, retaining the original enamel medal pinned to his chest, and supported by a stepped verde antico marble plinth with initial ‘N’ below a crown in gilt metal. Original chocolate brown patination. Signed to the reverse ‘Pinedo’ and with impressed foundry seal ‘Bronze Garaunti Manufacture’.
