Description
A late 19th century, French, ormolu mounted celadon ground pâte-sur-pâte lamp. The bottle shaped base finely decorated with a spray of flowers to both front and back, standing on a stepped plinth base with acanthus cast scroll feet. Sympathetically converted from an oil lamp and professionally rewired. Regilded. Stamped to the collar ‘M & Sons 179 Piccadilly’. (Miller & Sons Oil Lamp manufacturers)
