A George III carved rosewood couch. The solid rosewood frame with scroll acanthus carved arm and caned back rest above a loose upholstered squab cushion, standing on four ‘C’ scroll legs ending in castors. Signed to frame ‘Gillows & Co Searle 6th 1816’.
